This high dynamic range decreases the number of times you need to change ranges, resulting in shorter test times, but most importantly it extends the 7-1/2 digit resolution by 240% of input values.
The top of the line SMU2064 is the fastest, at 20,000 readings per second to an on-board store or 12,000 readings/sec continuous flow. It offers an impressive list of 25 built-in source and measure operations.
