New electronic load series from H&H

Höcherl & Hackl introduces a new generation of electronic loads with the new series ZS whose design was optimized by years of experience for use in production, laboratory and quality
assurance.
The power spectrum reaches from 500W to 25200W at four voltage classes: 60V, 120V, 300V and 600V. The currents reach 30mA at the smaller equipment and 2700A at the most powerful types. The unusual feature of these loads is the overloadability up to nearly triple nominal power. Through this a device can be often calculated for a considerably lower nominal power and thus essential more economically for applications with high short-time power.

In addition, the ZS series also can load PWM voltages because of particularly fast regulation times. A ZS load has standard an analog interface which makes the analogous control of 0..5 V or 0..10 V possible and provides analogous measuring signals for U, I and P.
A galvanically isolated version can optionally be plugged in instead. GPIB and RS232/USB are optionally available for data interfaces. Multi-channel systems can be arranged economically
by installing an RS232/USB or GPIB interface into the first device and up to 191 further loads are connected to the system bus output. These need merely a system bus interface and are
selected by a sub address put ahead of the SCPI command. The load inputs remain galvanically separated. All interfaces are pluggable from the back so that a subsequent refit is
possible without opening the device.
