Beside a wide range of bipolar (and unipolar) power supplies TTMS does have a range of uni- and bipolar amplifiers as well.
The four quadrant amplifiers (bipolar) are capable of supplying a current (source) as of absorbing a current (load). This can be done in combination with a positive or negative voltage.
This combination is important for certain RLC networks where the energy from the capacitance or coil can absorbed by the source.
TTMS does represent three suppliers of different four quadrant amplifiers. Please see below the possible choices.
The two quadrant amplifiersfrom H&H (unipolar) are capable of supplying a positive or negative current (source) in combination with a positive voltage.
Beside the range of Bipolar power supplies, NF Corporation also supplies two bipolar amplifiers.
These units do have simular capabilities as the bipolar supplies but do have a much higher bandwidth capability and no internal waveform generator.
The model BA 4825 does have a high frequenty bandwidth of 2MHz, a 300Vp-p voltage range and a maximum current output of 0.5 Amp.
The model BA 4850 does have a 50MHz frequency bandwidth, a ±20Vp-p output and this with a maximum current of 1 Amp.

The Toellner 7610 series consist of 4 models.
The output power is 150W and the frequency bandwidth for all models is >100kHz. For small signal amplitude this is even 400kHz.
The maximum output voltages ±10V, ±20V, ±40V and ±60V. You can vary the amplification factor and there is a posibility of DC offset.

Beside the Toellner 7610 bipolaire amplifiers Toellner does have the models 7607 and 7608 unipolar amplifiers.
The Toellner 7607 amplifier does have a frequentie range up to 5MHz and a maximum output voltage up to 40Vpk-pk (into 50 ohm).
The maximum amplification of the 7607 is 26dB.
The Toellner 7608 is available in two models.
The standard 7608 does have a maximum frequentie bandwidth up to 500kHz and a maximum output voltage of 45Vpk-pk.
The bipolar power supplies from NF Corporation are also capable to be used as an amplifier. The two different models do have an output power off 1200W and 2400W.
The voltage range is ± 60V (maximum DC offset is 55V) and the current is maximum 10Amps (30Ap-p) or 20Amps (60Ap-p) for the 2400W model. Each model does have an external signal input and an internal arbitrary waveform generator.
The external input can even be combined with the internal signal generator or even DC offset control.

Also the H&H NL-serie bipolar and unipolar sources can be used as an amplifier. These units are capable of a maximum output power of 3520W.
The maximum voltage level is 100V and the maximum current is 320A.
